Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Valid and active Alabama school psychology license required
- Strong background in psychoeducational assessment, individualized education planning, and intervention strategies
- Experience supporting K-12 students of varying backgrounds and needs
- Adaptability to serve in an itinerant capacity if needed
- Outstanding communication and collaborative skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to present required licensure documentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for psychological services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services as required
- Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards of confidentiality and ethics
- Travel between school sites, as assignments and testing needs determine
