What We’re Looking For:
- Valid (or eligibility to obtain) Michigan School Psychologist license prior to the new school year
- Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Previous experience providing psychological assessments and interventions for K-12 students
- Strong communication and consultation skills with staff, families, and students
- Adaptable and enthusiastic approach to collaborative problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results to guide intervention planning
- Collaborate with special education teams to develop, implement, and monitor student support plans
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and preventative services and programs
- Regularly confer with teachers, parents, and relevant professionals to foster student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to eligibility determination processes
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate for all students
