School Psychologist - Denton, TX

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Texas
- Experience working with students in PreK-12 settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment, counseling, and intervention methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with special education processes and relevant state/federal regulations
- High level of organizational skill and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students throughout the district
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop and implement effective interventions and supports
- Participate actively in the IEP process, including eligibility determinations and progress monitoring
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Deliver training and workshops for staff on mental health, behavior management, and related areas
- Maintain thorough, timely records and comply with reporting requirements
