Qualifications:
- Valid state license as a School Psychologist
- Certification specific to School Psychology
- Experience working at the elementary, middle, and/or high school levels
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students’ academic and emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and support to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote a positive school climate
- Engage families and provide resources to support student well-being
- Document and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
