Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing interventions
- Strong skills in consultation, collaboration, and problem-solving within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to deliver direct and indirect services to a diverse student population
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but not required
What You Will Do:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations
- Interpret assessment data and present findings to staff and families
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective interventions
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings, offering expertise in student needs and accommodations
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as necessary
- Advise on strategies to promote positive behavior and mental wellness
- Consult with families to connect them with appropriate resources
