We are currently seeking qualified professionals for a contract position in Denver, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting students and helping them achieve academic, social, and behavioral success in a school setting.
Position Overview
The selected candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to provide individualized and/or classroom-based support. Ideal candidates are patient, dependable, collaborative, and committed to fostering a positive educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to assigned student(s) or small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers.
- Implement accommodations, interventions, and support strategies as directed.
- Assist students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Perform additional duties related to student support as assigned.
Qualifications
- A School Psychologist license for the state of Colorado.
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to successfully complete required background screenings.
