Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist, meeting all state requirements
- Experience working with elementary-aged students strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of MTSS/RTI processes, special education evaluations, and IEP development
- Outstanding communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and outside providers
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to a diverse school environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ needs and recommend appropriate supports
- Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis management as needed
- Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, facilitating problem-solving meetings and providing expertise on interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Promote positive school climate and relationships among students, staff, and families
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices and legislative changes
