Required Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Active Illinois (IL) licensure
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Experience and enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged students
- Strong collaboration, communication, and consultation skills
- Ability to travel between two assigned schools as part of your weekly schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services—including assessment, consultation, and intervention—for elementary students
- Conduct educational, behavioral, and cognitive assessments to inform individualized education plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and social-emotional development
- Contribute expert recommendations in Response to Intervention (RTI) meetings and case conferences
- Participate in crisis intervention efforts and proactive prevention initiatives across partnered schools
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
