Qualifications and Experience:
- PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Active and current Illinois licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students is highly desirable
- Strong skills in psychological evaluation, intervention, and consultation
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Split your time between two elementary schools, ensuring each site receives dedicated support
- Deliver assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) and response to intervention (RTI) processes
- Provide individual and group counseling to address student needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents on best practices for supporting students’ emotional and behavioral health
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives
