Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Valid Illinois licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is highly valued
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consultation, and collaboration
- Exceptional communication abilities to connect with students, families, and staff
- Ability to thrive while managing caseloads across two school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data to guide interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to create supportive learning plans
- Develop and assist with behavioral and academic interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support IEP development
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive school climate at both assigned schools
