School Psychologist - Elgin, Illinois

Qualifications:
- Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) and current Illinois licensure required
- Demonstrated experience or specialized training in school psychology
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, interpreting assessment results, and writing reports
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse students, families, and staff
- Commitment to promoting positive student outcomes and creating inclusive learning environments
- Flexibility to successfully manage responsibilities across two school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement student-specific plans, including IEPs and 504 plans
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding intervention strategies and services
- Provide direct and indirect counseling, crisis response, and behavioral support
- Assist with data collection and progress monitoring to guide interventions
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives for mental health, social-emotional learning, and positive behavior support
