Qualifications:
- Hold an active Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Possess current Illinois School Psychologist licensure
- Previous experience working in elementary school settings is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and assessment skills
- Adaptable and able to split time effectively between two schools
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for elementary students
- Participate in meetings for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Offer direct and consultative support to students dealing with academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Contribute to multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and school-wide initiatives for student mental health
- Provide crisis response and support as needed
