Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist credentials (IL PSYCH Creds) required
- Proven experience as a School Psychologist in an educational setting
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Ability to manage varying caseloads with flexibility and organization
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with special education processes and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychoeducational assessments for students in kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with early childhood assessment teams and elementary staff across multiple buildings
- Develop recommendations and interventions that support student learning and emotional development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to create and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs
