The core focus of your responsibilities will revolve around conducting evaluations, particularly at the elementary level, helping students access the resources and support they deserve.
Required Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with both elementary and high school caseloads preferred
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments, focusing primarily on elementary students
- Collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to develop and implement strategies that support student well-being and success
- Attend and contribute insights during weekly staff meetings
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and recommendations for program improvement as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
