Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current Texas licensure or certification as a school psychologist
- Experience conducting AU Autism and EU Educational assessments strongly preferred
- Understanding of special education processes and legal requirements
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret 66 Autism (AU) evaluations and 19 Educational (EU) assessments over the academic year
- Participate in eligibility meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and recommend appropriate interventions and supports based on assessment outcomes
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to facilitate student success
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with all state and federal policies
This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position, offering the chance to build relationships and make a meaningful impact within the school community throughout the year.
