Key Qualifications:
- Required: Licensed School Psychologist or School Social Worker (credentials in New Mexico or eligibility for licensure)
- Strong experience developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans
- Background in conducting pre-referral and comprehensive evaluative activities in a school setting
- Experience supporting staff and teams in behavior management strategies across multiple environments
- Stellar interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families
- Ability to deliver onsite services exclusively for seven hours daily, across two elementary campuses
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and address student behavioral and emotional needs within elementary settings
- Guide staff in managing student behaviors through evidence-based strategies and interventions
- Provide direct support to students using both one-on-one and group techniques
- Participate in pre-referral processes, contributing expertise for evaluation and placement decisions
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary school teams and families to promote student success
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in alignment with school policies
