Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker
- Proven experience developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans
- Strong background in supporting teachers and staff with behavior management in diverse school settings
- Ability to perform pre-referral interventions and conduct thorough evaluations
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Prior experience in elementary education settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological and behavioral support services across two elementary sites
- Collaborate with educators and families to assess student needs, provide recommendations, and develop effective behavior plans
- Assist with pre-referral processes and conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Guide and support staff in managing challenging behaviors, modeling best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education planning
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to data-driven decision making
