Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure (state requirements must be met)
- Strong background in educational, cognitive, and behavioral assessments
- Experience performing assessments, testing, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) evaluations
- Expertise in interpreting data, writing reports, and making educational recommendations
- Familiarity with IEP processes, special education laws, and best practices in school-based psychological services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Support MTSS teams through data collection, interpretation, and recommendations
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop effective interventions
- Assist with eligibility determinations and contribute to IEP recommendations
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines
