Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification in the state (or eligibility for certification)
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Prior experience working with K–12 students preferred
- Proficiency in conducting educational and psychological assessments
- Strong ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple caseloads and changing needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments, counseling, and interventions for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and support IEPs and 504 plans
- Respond effectively to student mental health needs and behavioral challenges
- Participate in team meetings and multidisciplinary case reviews
- Maintain thorough documentation and confidential records in accordance with district and legal guidelines
