Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification or licensing as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts
- Demonstrated experience working with K-5 student populations
- Skilled in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results
- Ability to implement student-centered intervention strategies and supports
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities with staff and families
- Knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development and progress monitoring
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve students across two nearby elementary schools with a range of social, emotional, and academic needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to develop and implement intervention plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide written reports and recommendations
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP/504 team meetings, and contribute insights for student success
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Assist in shaping a positive, inclusive school culture
