Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations within a school setting
- Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for teamwork with educators, families, and students
- Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
- Understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative psychological services for students, including assessments, behavioral interventions, and crisis intervention as needed
- Administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations (7 at the elementary level, 64 at the high school)
- Develop, maintain, and monitor effective IEPs for special education students (90 at the elementary school, 176 at the high school)
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student learning, behavior, and mental health
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expertise for student advancement
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with relevant educational and ethical standards
