Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois PEL and School Psychologist license (pending accepted for travelers)
- Experience with PreK–8th grade populations preferred
- Familiarity with evaluation processes and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
- Ability to run domain meetings, oversee EI transition processes, and conduct evaluations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and document domain meetings for special education evaluations
- Complete comprehensive psychoeducational assessments (about 60+ per year)
- Oversee early intervention (EI) transitions, including conducting TPBAs
- Attend MTSS referral meetings for individual cases as needed
- Remain centrally housed at the district office rather than traditional day-to-day student/staff involvement
