Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Current state license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to adapt services to a varied age range of students
- Solid understanding of special education law and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Support development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Provide expertise on behavior management and student support plans
- Facilitate workshops or trainings for school staff and families
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
