Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
- Strong understanding of MTSS/RTI and special education processes
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build trust with students, colleagues, and families
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs through formal assessments and observations
- Consult with teachers and parents about learning, behavior, and adjustment concerns
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling services as needed
- Support general and special educational teams with data-driven recommendations
- Promote inclusive practices and advocate for students’ well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance student success
