Key Qualifications:
- Valid NM PED School Psychologist License
- Master’s degree or doctorate in School Psychology or related field
- Ability and willingness to travel between school sites within the district
- Strong evaluative, communication, and consultative skills
- Experience handling a varied caseload and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams appreciated
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations (expected 30-40 evaluations per year) to inform educational planning
- Provide expertise to school teams through report interpretation, consultation, and intervention recommendations
- Offer assessment-driven support for academic, social, and behavioral interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
- Serve as a valuable resource and advocate for students, families, and staff
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings as required
