What we’re seeking:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience or strong foundational knowledge in assessment, intervention, and consultation for K-12 students
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability to travel between schools within the county (home base at SELF school)
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations based on student and district needs
- Develop and help implement effective intervention strategies in partnership with educational staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility reviews, and parent consultations
- Provide crisis support and counseling as needed
- Coordinate services across multiple sites to ensure consistent student support
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with district standards
Expect a structured weekday schedule, working a total of 7 hours per day (generally between 7:45 am–3:15 pm). Caseloads will vary, offering opportunities to expand your skill set and impact a range of student needs across the county.
