Position Type: Full-Time Contract
School Year: 2026–2027
Caseload: Assigned based on experience and district needs
Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours
Compensation: Competitive weekly pay with benefits available
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations.
Interpret assessment results and prepare written evaluation reports.
Participate in eligibility determination, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers.
Assist in developing evidence-based behavioral and academic interventions.
Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs through consultation and crisis intervention when needed.
Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
Qualifications
Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Active North Carolina School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start date.
Previous school-based experience preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
