Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to consult effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Commitment to fostering inclusive educational practices
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Can work onsite; virtual/remote options are not available at this time
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer cognitive, academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver interventions
- Offer short-term counseling to students and consult with staff and parents
- Consult on behavior management and strategies for diverse learners
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and relevant state/federal laws
Position Details:
- 0.8 FTE for the entire 2026-2027 school year
- All work is performed onsite within schools in the area
