Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate in School Psychology (or eligibility)
- Previous experience with elementary-age students preferred
- Strong background in conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
- Ability to maintain detailed records and prepare comprehensive reports
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform student assessments and evaluations to inform eligibility decisions and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families regarding students’ needs and recommendations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Deliver insightful, practical recommendations for instructional strategies and interventions
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Support positive student outcomes by promoting social-emotional well-being through consultation and advocacy
