Qualifications:
- Valid and current Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate required
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist, especially within high school settings, is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, IEPs, behavioral interventions, and special education procedures
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with both staff and families
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple evaluations and caseload responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, intervention, and crisis support for students as needed
- Act as a resource to teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student mental health and learning needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with district, state, and federal regulations
