Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students throughout the 2026-2027 school year. The School Psychologist will support students across K-12 settings through evaluations, assessments, consultation, and participation in multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and determine eligibility for special education services.
- Provide psychological services and support to students across K-12 settings.
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other school-based professionals to develop appropriate interventions and supports.
- Participate in MTSS/RTI processes and provide recommendations based on student data.
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings and recommendations effectively to school teams and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation and evaluation records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
- Provide consultation and behavioral or academic support as appropriate.
- Support the development and implementation of individualized interventions and educational plans.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid School Psychologist credential/licensure appropriate for practice in Delaware.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
