Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist in Washington State
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience working in school settings is strongly preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
- Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with special education procedures, regulations, and best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Support students’ mental health and learning through counseling, consultation, and interventions
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings (including IEP development)
- Assist educators and families in designing and implementing effective strategies for student growth
- Contribute to crisis response efforts and help sustain a safe, positive school climate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, assessments, and services provided
