- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school-based assessment, counseling, and interventions
- Strong understanding of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education processes
- Excellent communication and consultative skills with students, parents, and educators
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations and varying needs
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to determine students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Interpret test results, collaborate in the eligibility process, and provide recommendations for supports and services
- Participate in the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and parents regarding student challenges and best practices
- Deliver direct interventions, including counseling, crisis intervention, or skill-building groups
- Advocate for students’ well-being and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment within the school community
