Desired Qualifications:
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) or eligibility for state certification
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Prior experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, families, and educators
- Knowledge of IEP process, special education law, and evidence-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students with academic, social, behavioral, or emotional challenges
- Participate in special education eligibility meetings and develop appropriate recommendations
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
- Provide direct therapeutic and counseling services, both individually and in groups
- Develop and implement prevention and crisis intervention programs as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations
