Requirements & Qualifications:
- Current certification and license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for Florida licensure)
- Experience working with K-8 students, preferably in specialized or autism-focused programs
- Strong understanding of IEPs, behavioral strategies, and individualized supports
- Counseling experience within a school setting is required
- Ability to collaborate effectively with BCBAs and other multidisciplinary staff
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing psychological counseling to students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and write reports
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and behavioral intervention plans
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to foster a positive learning environment
- Participate in parent meetings, staffings, and team collaboration sessions
