With a modest caseload and clearly defined hours from 8:45am to 3:35pm, you’ll have the time and support to provide high-quality services to students who need them most.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (070) is required.
- Previous experience conducting both initial and triennial evaluations.
- Comfortable providing individual and group counseling on a limited basis.
- Proven ability to facilitate PPT meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including initial and triennial evaluations, to support student success and compliance with educational requirements.
- Offer individualized and small group counseling sessions that help students overcome social, emotional, or learning barriers.
- Lead and facilitate PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings, ensuring the coordination of services and resources that address each student’s unique needs.
- Consult with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and timelines.
