- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with special education procedures and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, or social-emotional concerns
- Interpret assessment results, generate detailed reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop effective strategies to support students' learning and well-being
- Provide individual and group counseling when needed, focusing on students’ academic and emotional growth
- Consult with teachers and staff regarding classroom interventions and behavior management techniques
- Participate in crisis intervention and response as part of the school support team
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements
