Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license in California
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing counseling for K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and state/federal regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for special education services
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and mental health needs
- Develop and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
- Provide consultation and recommendations to educators and parents regarding students’ learning, social, and emotional needs
- Deliver direct intervention and counseling services as appropriate
