Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results
- Solid understanding of special education law and procedures
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and sound professional judgment
- Experience in a high school setting is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to help address students’ academic and behavioral needs
- Support prevention and intervention strategies targeting mental health, learning, and adjustment challenges
- Deliver staff and parent training on relevant mental health topics
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all legal and ethical standards
