Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations for a diverse K-12 student population
- Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, working alongside multidisciplinary education teams
- Deliver direct and indirect psychological support, including crisis intervention and effective behavior management strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including paid administrative time for completion of reports and participation in meetings
Qualifications:
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
- Successful completion of required state background checks and fingerprinting before start date
- Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in assessment and report writing
- Open to travel professionals—qualified candidates considering relocation or travel are encouraged to apply
About the Positions:
- Position 1 begins as soon as possible and continues through March 2027, with potential extension through the end of the school year
- Position 2 runs from October 26, 2026 through December 18, 2026
- Full-time, 40 hours per week; includes paid indirect hours for documentation and meetings
- On-site placement at multiple K-12 locations across Mission Viejo
- All interviews will be conducted via Zoom for your convenience
