Desired Qualifications and Credentials:
- Active School Psychologist certification or relevant state credential
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience with psychoeducational testing, evaluations, and report writing for K-12
- Strong familiarity with special education regulations and ARD/IEP processes
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students
- Prepare detailed, timely reports summarizing assessment findings and recommendations
- Participate actively in ARD meetings, sharing insights and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
- Serve 2-3 schools within a close-knit district, adapting to diverse student needs
- Support special education eligibility determinations, providing professional guidance as needed
