Qualifications & Required Credentials:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification appropriate for Texas
  • Master’s or Specialist Degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong knowledge of special education evaluation procedures and eligibility criteria
  • Ability to manage multiple school sites and caseloads across 2-3 schools
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for referred students in grades K-12
  • Prepare clear, legally compliant evaluation reports and present findings at ARD meetings
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
  • Prioritize organization and time management to serve multiple campuses and caseloads effectively

This position begins August 12, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, with a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The supportive setting and focused duties allow you to make a significant difference within a manageable caseload.
