Qualifications & Required Credentials:
- Valid School Psychologist certification appropriate for Texas
- Master’s or Specialist Degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education evaluation procedures and eligibility criteria
- Ability to manage multiple school sites and caseloads across 2-3 schools
- Excellent communication, organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for referred students in grades K-12
- Prepare clear, legally compliant evaluation reports and present findings at ARD meetings
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Prioritize organization and time management to serve multiple campuses and caseloads effectively
This position begins August 12, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, with a steady schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The supportive setting and focused duties allow you to make a significant difference within a manageable caseload.
