Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid and current School Psychologist credential or license (as required by state)
- Previous experience working with diverse student populations in an educational or similar setting preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consultation, and collaboration
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable adapting to new environments and working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments, evaluations, and recommendations to support student academic and emotional success
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized educational and behavioral plans
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of effective interventions for students’ learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation according to regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and strategies tailored to each student’s unique strengths and challenges
