Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology (required)
- Current Louisiana School Psychologist license
- Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students (preferred)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations
- Interpret assessment data for eligibility and intervention planning
- Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and support for positive behavioral change
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student success
- Assist in developing and monitoring IEPs and 504 plans
- Contribute to multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and problem-solving teams
- Engage in consultation regarding learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges
