Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid school psychologist license for Louisiana
- Previous experience working in school settings (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, behavioral intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining detail-oriented work
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for academic, social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
- Participate in student support and special education eligibility meetings
- Provide direct counseling and support services to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to foster positive student growth
- Advocate for students’ needs and contribute to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
