Support elementary students’ growth and academic achievement as a School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This contract assignment is based near Longmont, CO, serving two local elementary schools and offers a consistent full-time schedule during the 2026-2027 academic year.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to assess student needs, facilitate interventions, and contribute to individualized education programs. This onsite opportunity ensures you’ll play a vital part in your school community, making a meaningful difference each day.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist License
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist within a school setting required
- Proven ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, solution-oriented, and culturally responsive in working with diverse elementary school populations
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Participate actively in child study and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Develop and support effective intervention strategies for students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote supportive learning environments
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local guidelines for special education
- Document services and progress in accordance with school and district procedures
