Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current and valid licensure as a School Psychologist in Wisconsin (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in K-12 educational environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with best practices in assessment, intervention, and counseling
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt and respond positively to varied student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and interpret results for students with diverse backgrounds
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective behavioral and academic interventions
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for educational planning
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Support the implementation of positive behavioral support strategies school-wide
- Serve as an advocate for students’ well-being, addressing barriers to learning and promoting a positive school climate
