Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and documentation processes
- Ability to interpret assessment data and write comprehensive reports
- Passion for working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of assessments to identify students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create intervention plans that support student success
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering guidance and insight into student needs
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Support school-wide initiatives aimed at fostering a positive school climate and student well-being
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
