Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing counseling, assessments, and interventions in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and special education law
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop interventions and behavioral plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in student evaluations
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Advocate for students’ needs, helping ensure equitable access to resources and support
- Maintain accurate and confidential records consistent with legal and ethical guidelines
