Your primary focus will be high school students, delivering essential support that fosters educational and personal growth. Responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive evaluations and compiling reports for PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings, ensuring compliance with state requirements and supporting student success in a collaborative and engaging environment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Connecticut School Psychologist licensure and certification required
- Demonstrated experience working in a school-based setting, preferably at the high school level
- Strong background in evaluation administration and documentation for PPT meetings
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
Role Responsibilities:
- Administer standardized psychological assessments and report findings
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering professional insight for individualized educational plans
- Provide consultation to educators and parents regarding students’ needs and interventions
- Support crisis intervention efforts when necessary
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards
