School Psychologist - Meriden, CT

The role is based on a standard school day schedule, running from 8:20 AM to 3:35 PM. Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Strong skills in psychological assessment and evaluation
- Familiarity with providing direct services and crisis response in a school setting
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Adaptability, with openness to focusing on evaluations if the position shifts
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
- Provide direct psychological services and interventions to a developing caseload, currently around 20 students
- Participate in and support crisis response as needed throughout the school day
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective support plans
- Document evaluations, services, and interventions in accordance with school procedures
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment to support student well-being
