Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Connecticut certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Prior experience with school-based psychological services, preferably in an elementary setting
- Strong understanding of best practices in student evaluation and development
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, student-centered environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for elementary students
- Attend and contribute to PPT meetings to develop and update individualized education plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ needs
- Provide consultation on behavioral interventions and academic support strategies
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation
